The tour continued across the UK and continental Europe before heading to Japan and then North America, ending to a greater extent in Pittsburgh, PA on 30th November. But in the new year, Whitesnake decamped to Brazil for an appearance at the Rock In Rio festival on 19th January 1985, the first instalment of what has become the biggest rock festival in the world and which continues to this day.Appearing on 11th January ’85 alongside bands such as Queen and Iron Maiden, Whitesnake performed again on Saturday 19th, this time along with AC/DC, The Scorpions and Ozzy Osbourne.Performing a stunning set on 19th January, which was recorded for live broadcast in Brazil, and synched worldwide, this incredible show is now available in its completion on this new 2LP set.
