Reissue from this mid '90s female-fronted emo/indie rock band from Florida that would've fit well on Polyvinyl. Pulling influences from the rock of Superchunk and Versus, the pop of Velocity Girl and the vocal beauty of Ida, Pohgoh remains, to this day, the quintessential female-fronted indie-rock band from “Emo’s” hey-day. They were on Volume 1 of the DeepElm's “Emo Diaries” series along with Jimmy Eat World and Samiam. So now you got who they are. This reissue contains "Friend X", originally appearing on the Emo Diaries, Vol. 1, as we initially intended in 1997 but could not include for legal reasons.
