Planetariet - DELUXE CD

Planetariet is a post-rock band with it’s roots in northern Sweden among the northern lights and midnight sun. The band started its journey many years ago in the small town of Skellefteå. The inspiration comes from outer space, in other words, the music is forever changing and the inspiration endless, which has given Planetariet it’s dreamy and often cinematic signature sound. Though it’s post-rock the band has travelled to several corners of the music world for inspiration. The attentive listener can hear influences from both jazz, pop and hip hop. The debut-album ”Rymden” (Space in Swedish) was released in 2015 and received good criticism all over the world. Planetariet have played several of the well reputed Swedish festivals such as Trästockfestivalen and Umeå-open. In april 2018 the bands EP "planetariet" was woted as release of the month at American community based website feedbands.com. This resulted in a vinyl pressing of the ep in 800 copies sent out to the members of feedbands.com. Some songs emerged after ”Rymden” did not fit the theme for the follow up album but were still way to good to be thrown away. The solution was this this album. The first three songs, Kepler, Juno and Sirius were recorded as a live session to capture the vibe of the band playing live.
