This 3CD set celebrates and catalogues Floyd at the peak of their 1970s glory, featuring as it does three classic live broadcast recordings from this iconic era, focussing on the timeline of this glorious set of recordings, which has rarely if ever been surpassed in the development of modern rock music. DISC ONE here opens with a full performance of The Dark Side of the Moon at Philadelphia’s Spectrum Theater on 15th March 1973, just two weeks after the album’s release. This legendary show remains one of the finest of the Dark Side tour, delivering a dynamic and unforgettable performance that remains a fan favourite to this day.DISC TWO captures the classic concert from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale on 17th June 1975, during the Wish You Were Here tour - which bizarrely began before the record’s release. The set-list, of course, comprises cuts from the forthcoming record, as well as early versions of ‘Sheep’ and ‘Dogs’ (then known as ‘Raving And Drooling’ and ‘You Gotta Be Crazy’), later to be heard on Animals. The show concludes with a stunning rendition of ‘Echoes’, originally found on Meddle.DISC THREE rounds off this dynamic set with a superb performance from Vienna on 1st February 1977, during the In the Flesh tour. Primarily consisting of cuts from Animals, this gig showcases Pink Floyd at their very best with a performance that has long been recognised as among the finest from the ’77 tour.
