HELLS HEADBANGERS is proud to present MORTICIAN’s classic fifth album, Re-Animated Dead Flesh, back on gatefold vinyl in two new colour variants – neon green, and blood red & olive green swirl – and with poster. MORTICIAN are legendary, and there’s no disputing this fact. HELLS HEADBANGERS have worked with the goregrinding duo on vinyl reissues of all of the band’s main releases, both album and short-length, and ally with them again to reissue 2004’s Re-Animated Dead Flesh, which the label originally released on vinyl in 2016. The album is – to date, at least – the most recent MORTICIAN full-length, and despite being 20 years old, Re-Animated Dead Flesh sounds fresher than ever. And by “fresher,” we mean disgustingly, rottingly GORE-DRENCHED: there’s only one MORTICIAN, now and forever, and this nearly-40-minute tome of terror & entrails reaffirms their legendry. During its time of release, Re-Animated Dead Flesh was the third MORTICIAN recording on their own Mortician Records after years of being with Relapse. As their stature (and specialness) grew in the decades since, it’s only fitting that MORTICIAN grant this new vinyl edition to a label equally trend-free: HELLS HEADBANGERS!
