More than forty years ago, on 31 January 1981, Eric Clapton and his band kicked off a short four-date tour of Ireland. It started in Dublin, then stopped in Galway, Cork and Carlow. The dates also served as a warm-up for a massive U.S. tour that was due to kick off in March, to promote his latest album Another Ticket. After the final gig in Carlow, EC and the band went back to London for a benefit concert at the Rainbow Theatre, on 5th February, in aid of a drug and alcohol recovery charity administered by Dr. Meg Patterson. The finest show of this 4-day jaunt was performed at the RDS stadium in Dublin, an event recorded for live FM broadcast. The entire concert from the Irish capital is now available, for the first time, on this new 2CD set.Not for sale to GAS (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
