The Keep The Faith album came out in 1992, and is often cited as Bon Jovi’s finest record. But the demos for the LP, wholly different from the cuts on the final release, have never before seen the light of day. But this new CD contains five such recordings, illustrating the songs in their rawest form, the ’naked’ versions, if you will. Other unreleased songs, live cover versions and rare versions of classic Jovi numbers also appear here, as do the complete and legendary ‘Basement Tapes’, recorded between January and March 1986, another raw and uncompromising set of demos and rehearsal, these for the Slippery When Wet album, which were written and recorded in Richie Sambora’s mother’s basement, and which largely feature just vocals and an acoustic guitar.
