“Time Immortal Wept” is the second installment in a trilogy of concept albums now to be known as The Earthwarrior Cycle. In part one, an unnamed warrior is transported from Earth to the distant planet Eyrn. There, he learns to thrive in the wilds, raiding the haunted burial chambers and pillaging ruinous dungeons to trade in the towns along his way. He attains the Eye of Kings, a blue jewel with mysterious powers of inter-dimensional travel. His journeys lead him to Ardona, ruled over by the evil wizard Vael at the apex of the Tower Keep within the city walls. Along his ascent through chambers of arcane magick, he finds a gateway to the realm of Faellnoch, an ancient planet ruled by the King in Yellow. The Earthwarrior awakens a primeval demigod in this realm, bringing forth the entity from living stone in a moment when he retrieves the Staff of kings from its grasp. Completing this Staff with the blue jewel he held in possession, he is able to transport himself back to the Tower Keep to face off with Vael. In this confrontation, the wizard is defeated, and with the magick binding the tower lost, it crumbles into the sky as the Earthwarrior escapes.“Time Immortal Wept” begins here, with the Earthwarrior finding a secret society dedicated to the preservation of knowledge through time. He finds himself at the center of a prophecy, which they have kept for thousands of years. He has awakened the old gods of Faellnoch, and their warriors are now invading Eyrn through mirrors and reflective pools of water. The Earthwarrior must travel back to Faellnoch to stop them, but he must find a new way back, as the Staff of Kings was destroyed as the Tower Keep fell. He is experiencing demonic visions of this other world of fire and savagery. Armies of monstrous creatures are arising; conjured by evil magick. The King in Yellow and his warlords conspire in their fortress of crimson, their sights on conquering Eyrn. The Earthwarrior’s adventure continues, but to what end?
