Originally known as the ‘TimeAtions’ in the late 60’s, the US band adopted the name ‘Head East’ in 1969. The fivepiece Band signed a deal with A&M Records in 1974 where they’ve released a couple of highly successful chart selling albums in the following years which turned the band into one of the country’s leading Classic Rock bands of the era. ‘A Different Kind Of Crazy’ originally came out first in 1979 and reached #65 on the US Billboard charts, including the German hit single and radio hit ‘If You Knew Me Better’.
