Spazz, from the Bay Area, California, may be the best known band, along side Infest and Man is the Bastard, from whats now referred to as the “power violence” scene from the west coast in the 90’s. Rapid fire hardcore that assaulted all borders of death, thrash, grind core and punk. Extreme speed, crushing stops, sludgy dirge, explosive torrents of blast beats and savagely barked vocals. Standing out from the pack by being wacky, including everything they loved in the music. Skateboarding, hip hop, tagging, pro-wrestling, kung fu movies, all represented in their songs along with the occasional banjo or saxophone.
